People love interactive campus maps: But don't take our word for it...

It's true. 

In fact, 43 percent of all students in a 2012 Noel Levitz survey reported viewing a virtual tour or interactive campus map, and 33 percent reported that viewing a campus map changed their opinion of a campus for the better.

Below are a few social media messages shared by CampusBird interactive map partners and users who highlight a unique aspect of the platform, from the ability to share handicap accessible entrances across a campus, beautiful seasonal overlays, and a reminder to share a map link to help visitors find their way around a campus.

Cheshire Academy is a grades 8 through PG college-preparatory school with students from all over the world.  

 

Founded in 1834, Wake Forest University is a private, independent, nonprofit, non-sectarian, coeducational research university in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

 

Some love for Middlebury's CampusBird from a cartographer, GIS and participatory mapping specialist!  

 

  Denver Seminary is an accredited, graduate-level institution based in Littleton, Colorado.

 

Boise State - Idaho's largest university, promotes the launch of their CampusBird platform. Boise State University (BSU) is a public research institution in Boise, Idaho.

“The new virtual campus map is particularly helpful to showcase our campus to prospective students and families who are not quite ready or able to physically visit campus,” said Boise State Admissions Director Kelly Talbert. “International students are a great example of a group who typically do not visit our campus before enrolling, but really value getting a birds-eye view of the place they’re considering calling home.”
